Does anyone have insight on a situation that happened to me over the

weekend............I have had migraines for 20 yrs with visual disturbances that

happen at the time of the migraine....I have Chiari, and for the

last 6 months I have black squigglies in my vision all of the time......

I have seen the ophthalmologist two times over the past few months to rule out

retinal detachment and he said both times that my eyes are extremely healthy.

So, the other day I experienced a visual disturbance unlike any kind I have had

before. My vision was minimal, b/c of these

moving cloud like things that looked like they had electricity at the

edges. I don't believe it is eye related (like the retinal detachment

thing) and it went away after 20 minutes, and then I got really

nauseous. (I was standing in a long line prior, with a very heavy

purse on my shoulder- which I know is a no-no)

Has

anyone seen anything like this? I am going to the vascular surgeon at

the end of the month, but don't know if this is related to Chiari, a

vascular problem, or even Eagle's and

the bones poking. I have been screened for this and have it, along

with a lot of osseous build up in that area. Over the past few months,

I cannot lay in bed without my head pulsating. I notice a lot has to

do with neck positioning. I also clench on my

right side as I fall asleep. Never thought this could be due to the

bones moving around, or things getting impinged b/c of laying on my

right side. Thanks for your post .

Thanks,

Pam, Va.
