Guest guest
Hey guys. I hope all is well and everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Maybe that will be a day for all to be pain free. I need your help again so thank you ahead of time. I went back to my NS today for the first time since I got the MRI results and since he put me through the PT. I read him a day to day little diary of how and what I've been feeling since I saw him last. I have bad headaches, severe chest pain, short of breath, nausea, vomiting, sleeplessnes, and then sleep all day. I let him know a couple of times I feel real funny in my head like I could have a seizure or something, I'm just not sure what that feels likek, but my husband does. I said the word Chiari and he threw his pen on the paper and said I did not have chiari. I only have the MRI that says I have a 6mm herniation, cervical spondylosis, cervicl scoliosis, and a C-5 disc that slips out. Do you think he's right? And it could be something else? I was so angry and I asked for the CINE MRI. He was hesitant and said the info is inconclusive and won't really tell anything. He did agree to do it, but asked the nurse to find a place where they did it... He wants me to see my neurololgist and admitted I have a cervical disorder, but no idea what.... Any info would help. Is he a complete idiot or do I need to run around like an angry woman for the rest of my life until somebody says,,, LET'S FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON?? Thanks for letting me vent and I truly am hoping all is well for everyone for the holidays!!! With luv, Crystal.
Guest guest
Argh! Doctors. At least he ordered the test. If he wont help you, get another doctor. You need treatment like that like you need another symptom crashing down on your life.. Too many doctors refuse to listen to their patients or open their minds to new things or, heaven forbid, re-examine what 'has always been the answer'.. Hang in there, don't let him get you down, there are good doctors who listen and care out there. it takes time and precious energy to find them sometimes :-) Angie Easy day to all may those headaches take a long holiday The frustration Hey guys.
