Guest guest
Just a question here. Does anyone seem to get over emotional when it seems silly to? My mom & I like to watch Extreme Makeover, Home Edition and I always find myself trying not to cry. It happens with other things too. I can't help but feel like crying when things seem to be really happy or really sad on tv or in movies. So, does anyone else seem to be super sensitive to emotions? I don't feel this way when it comes to everyday things, like stressing over the holidays and the lack of money for gifts for the kids, or the general stress of having Chiari and not being able to work, so there's no money and my mom is depressed and angry because there's nothing extra coming in in the way of my contribution to the household. Just things that are on tv. I kind of understand why I do it with Makeover, because I want a story like that with me in it...I need a miracle, like someone giving us a bigger, better place to live (there are 3 adults & 2 kids in a 3 bedroom double wide. my parents, of course, have their own room; and because I have two kids of different genders, my boy has his own room and I share a room with my daughter. plus, we have 2 dogs...though one is super tiny, and we have a cat). If this is a normal thing we Chiarians suffer, does it get better after surgery...or does it get worse? Am I just overly sensitive and emotional? Thanks. Guest guest
You aren't alone but I think it may have more to do with being ill, not being able to do what we want to and used to be able to do, poor treatment by doctors and, all too often, those we thought were there to help us through the rough times. You are human :-) My $0.02 Angie Easy day to all, may the headaches take a holiday emotions Just a question here. Does anyone seem to get over emotional when it seems silly to?
