Wishes and Rainbows Org January Update

Hello everyone!

Wishes and Rainbows has some wonderful news. Let's start out by saying ALL

the children on the Santa Smiles Program were adopted!! Thanks to your

Donations and the Adopting Elf's! This is the first time we have had all our

of Children on the good list taken care of with 9 days remaining till

Christmas! Job Well Done! We would not have been able to achieve this goal

without you. We appreciate everything you have done. (Personally, it make me

cry tears of HAPPINESS)

You will also be happy to know that Grammy (Sharon Greenwell) has found a

place to call home. Thank Goodness right! We have her new contact

information available below and also on our website under " About Us " /

As 2009 ends would like to say " Thank You " to everyone who has helped make a

difference in someones Life through Wishes and Rainbows. We hope that you

continue your support in 2010.

Looking forward in 2010, W & R have several Fundraising Goals! We are looking

for volunteers who would be willing to hold some fundraisers no matter how

big or small. If you are in need some fundraising idea's, Wishes and

Rainbows is here to help! You could take T-shirt orders, Lapel Pin/Tie Tack

orders, 2010 Chiari Longaberger Basket orders, it's up to you. If your PTA

is looking for something great this year - hold a Spring walk-a-thon,

Pennies from Heaven Collection or even a Educate Carnival & Car Wash. Hold a

Yard Sale - Sell spots, rent tables and donate a portion to Wishes &

Rainbows.

We are also looking for more Volunteer's that would like to be a part of W & R

Fundraising Committee. We will be working together via email, chat meetings

online, and some phone calls. Fundraising Committee positions are held for 6

months at a time and limited. If your interested or have questions please

email a, the fundraising director, subject line: Fundraising Committee.

We are holding our first Longaberger Lottery this year. We have 999 Tickets

to sell at $5 each. We are looking for businesses or individuals to sponsor

Longaberger baskets and items, or you could even fill them with your own

merchandise goodies! What better way to advertise and help those with Chiari

Malformation, Syringomyelia and other related conditions.
