Guest guest
hi i have got my 1 year post op check up on friday. i have a few symptoms that come and go but i can cope with those. my main symptom that i have left is the dreaded chiari head pain on position change valsalva manouvres etc. i thought and hoped that this would have been the first symptom to go , but i am still dealing with it on a daily basis. i try to adapt as much as possible to avoid them but it is hard. my question is has anyone else still got this problem, am i being impatient could it still go away in time. my last cine mri scan said that there is till no appreciable flow at the cranio vertrebral junction, but yet my neuro surgeon says that i have been adequatly decompressed, this was six months ago. i dont really know where to go from here. i guess i will have to wait and see, what my surgeon has to say. any advice would be greatly appreciated, take care diane uk x
