Guest guest
Hi Everyone! The BBD forbids sugar, wheat, barley, rye, oats, and dairy products. Trying to find a breakfast cereal at your local supermarket that conforms to these restrictions is virtually impossible. What, then, can you have for breakfast? Well, read on. I lived in Guadalajara for six months in 1995, and I learned that a lot of Mexican food is corn-based. So I checked out the Hispanic food section of my local suoermarket and came up with a 29 ounce can of " ita's Mexican Style Hominy. " Hominy is a corn-based product that resembles Garbonzo beans. It was packed in salt water--no sugar, additives, or preservatives. So I poured out the water and put the hominy in a bowl. Then I added only a little apple juice (instead of milk and sugar). It was great!!! With best wishes, Dudley Delany http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany
