Guest guest
Consider using Aesculus, Melilotus and Cysticus. Anne Chiotis Consultant Medical Herbalist www.lifeherbs.co.uk wrote I have a female patient, aged 80 with what I suspect may be CVI - although her GP has put her through a host of tests which were all inconclusive. She is usually energetic and very busy indeed and came in June with bilateral pitting oedema in the ankles, and oedema in her abdomen, both less pronounced on awakening, but quickly worsening. She does get pain after walking, is feeling lethargic and has no appetite. The skin on her ankles is slightly grey/ purple in appearance, sometimes with a red band above this area, and she has multiple broken capillaries. She hasn't experienced any tachycardia (although 7 years ago had supraventricular tachycardia, which was successfully treated with ablation and has not recurred), or shortness of breath on exertion. Her blood pressure fluctuates 160/90 to 137/84.
