Evidently I'm never going to see a pulmonary specialist, so I'm back with more

questions for the list experts. I've gotten medications to use in a nebulizer,

but my doctor's office was mum on what to get. I know from past experience when

my husband purchased his latest BiPAP machine, we saved money by purchasing it

ourselves rather than going through the insurance and paying 50% of their

inflated prices.

At any rate, does everyone use a table top type nebulizer and if so what brand

do you prefer? I really don't care about the noise until I buy a portable

(preferably hand held) nebulizer. At Amazon, my first stop in shopping, they

have products ranging from less than $100 to over $200.

As you might recall, I'm the person who is deathly allergic to the new green

propellants in inhalers, so have to do a work-around to come up with sort of

program to improve my results with a dry powder inhaler alone. Also will need

the hand held nebulizer in lieu of a rescue inhaler once my out of date one is

empty, but my priority is to get started with my Cromolyn Sodium at home sooner

than later.

I appreciate any and all comments. If you feel this isn't group-worthy or don't

wish to publish your own situation, feel free to contact me directly instead.

Thanks in advance.
