Guest guest
I have had similar. I am one of the chanters in my church and was at a point where I could not do that. My pharmacist told me to gargle after each use. Just a bit of water is fine. The problem cleared up for me. I asked my good friend, who is a nurse, about it at church this weekend, and she said that it wouldn't be a surprise that this stuff is affecting my voice. I'm super allergic to the FHA propellant so can't use a regular inhaler without ended up unconscious in the Emergency Room. I've tried gargling after each use, drinking a cup of hot water or hot drink, and even chewing gum to reduce the dry scratchy sensation. Does anyone have a better solution to this problem? Guest guest
I had the same thing too when I first started advair. After awhile its not as bad, but my voice is definitely changed some. I dont get the hoarseness so much anymore. It kind of changed on its own for me..(either that or Ive gotten used to it). I got some medicine that was mixed up specially for my dog but it is by a pharmacy. It is called Creative Compounding Center in Imlay City MI and they mix up medications specially for people or pets with special problems that they can't take regular medications. They sent along a sheet on themselves that says they can mix medications with special fillers for patients with allergies. they have a web site www.ccc-rx.com Their phone is 1 800 672-2177. I thought of you when I saw the info but you may already know of a pharmacy like this one. Barb
