I don't know, . Maybe you should get a new ultrasound. When I had a

stripe = 13, I started on 200 mg Prometrium for 10 days/month. Nothing

happened until the third month. The next several periods were heavy with

lots of clots.

I had heavy bleeds monthly for a few months and then they

settled down into regular periods.

Throughout, I used my estrogel except during the actual bleed - 5 or 6

days.

I don't know what to tell you. How does your doc tell you to use the

Prometrium? I find it interesting

that you are able to tolerate the Prometrium when you couldn't tolerate the

compounded creams, etc. Maybe that

says something for at least some testing before an FDA approval.

Oh I will get another one in 3 months. I have to. But how are you

now? Do you

get heavy bleeds every month with Prometrium? And I

don't know if I'm going to start bleeding again today or

tomorrow

since I just stopped the P. Now what do I do? Take it again after 14

days? I

forgot how this goes!

Maybe the creams were too strong and went in too fast? I just don't

know. I do not understand it. OR it is possible that it took 3 years

to clear all the Wiley P out of my system? My doc told me to use the

Prometrium for 10 days every month.

BUt I forgot how that goes. Do you start taking it from days 14-24

of your " cycle " ? I'm not sure when the 14th day would be now.

Isn't Day 1 the first day of your period?

If you are still having normal periods, yes, Day 1 is when you begin.

I just take my Prometrium for the first 9 days of each month. Once the

bleed starts (usually on Day 10), I go off Estrogel for 5 or 6 days.

No I'm not having normal periods. Okay so I guess that is a good way

to guage. So I have just finished taking my 10 day dose (tuesday).

But I'm not bleeding yet. So I guess that if I started taking the

Prometrium let's say, on May 26, then I should begin the next dose of

Prometrium on June 26 for 10 days?

I was not told to go off estrogen at all if I began to bleed. I

better ask !

Yes, I only go off estradiol when the bleed starts, and then stay off for 5

- 6 days. I use 1.5 mg of Estrogel transdermal.

Oh - I don't recall my doctor telling me to not use E when I bled. I

guess I should ask her.
