Hey, thanks Donna. Sounds like everything is falling into place. Nope, can

t back out now. Not everyone has a bed made up one year in advance. Sounds

like a plan. And, if there is a problem with the " first " half of the trip,

I will be picking you and Ron up in Michigan to go " get " Courage in Canada.

May need a posse as back up.

Thanks for jumping in Donna. As always you have been so supportive to me,

and well, to Courage.

Hugs to you-

Sandie

HI Ron,

Just sent Sharon a note but I'm happy to join in here too:

Sharon. Sending you a big comforting hug and wishing you a speedy recovery.

PS. If you get a chance try to save some of those good drugs for our

caregivers meeting in '08! :)

Courage,

You got to be kidding! Come all this way and miss the party? Any way, you have

to keep me awake while I drive. And on top of it the party starts as soon as I

pick you up. You won't have any time to be on meds that put you that far

under!!!!

LOL

Hugs,

Donna R

Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in

a nh.

She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine.

Courage-

We can lay you out in the back seat or even the back of the truck. Not sure

the room Donna has in her car - we may tow it behind the truck so you can

have it all to yourself. Plenty of room then! You can sleep as much as you

need as long as you are " with " us and not hiding in Canada " from " us.

LOL hehehehahahahahahahaha - not too out of the ordinary though. I know of

a man who rode several miles, through a few states, on a riding mower.

It does seem though, Donna isn't going to let you sleep. It seems your

system will be all messed up by the time this gathering is finished. Pumped

full of drugs, alcohol and caffeine. You won't know whether to sleep or run

down the interstate. We can make up a bed in the back of the truck...A.K.A

the " bed " of the truck. The tonneau cover will keep you protected from the

elements...we will keep you protected from knowing what the heck is

happening to you. :-))

Get to reading Courage - time is ticking by -

OK, Sandie, I have a Chevy Venture, (Van) and with the seats out, makes up into

a very nice bed. Maybe we should make up a pool, and see how many hours Courage

sleeps after she hits the states! But Courage, you won't have time to sleep.

We have to catch up on all that is happening. But I have needed an excuse to

buy a blow up bed for the back of my van and now I have one!

On top of that I know hypnosis! So I will pull stunts as soon as possible so

you will be relaxed! It will seem just like home! And you will be

relaxed......you will be relaxed....you will be.......

LOL

OMGosh!!! This has me laughing so hard I could fall off my chair. The blow

up bed had me going THEN I read of the hypnosis...you are getting v-e-r-y

s-l-e-e-p-y!!

Jeesh - if I weren't in on the heist, even I would be nervous by now.

hahahahahahehehehe

Thanks Donna. Loved this one. One of the best so far. Let me know, I will

bring something shiny to divert Courage's attention off the road and onto

hypnosis.

Still laughing, giggling, hehehehe-

Sandie, and Courage,

I sat here laughing at your laughter. " Even I would be nervous by now " had me

Donna-

I think that's one of the funny things about your message, you didn't think

your message was so funny. It seems we are pulling out all tricks to get

Courage to the gathering or us to Courage. And, hypnosis...still giggling

over that one. Maybe I " should " be a bit nervous as one of the drivers..

where will you take us Donna!

Truly having fun with this yet at the same time we know how important it is

that we meet Courage in person. 2008 WILL be the year, come hell, high

water, or hypnosis...LOL

Hugs to you Donna, and to Courage-

Sandie

lolololol..OK, well since there may be a few of us who will need the help of

ativan to get us all together maybe we should construct a study bed on

wheels that is highway driving worthy? Won't eyebrows go up when I say " I

slept my way through the US of A! "

Courage

my list slowly getting lower then higher

> well i called Shands today and found out the new surgeon is now at the

office, but is shadowing Dr Costa for a few weeks to get the 'feel ' of

things and will start seeing patients in a 'couple of weeks' whatever that

means, but who was so damn snitty to me before was just as sweet

as

could be an assured me that dr costa's note says for me to be scheduled

for

surgery within days of seeing Dr Patel. so we are still in hurry up and

wait

mode. but i can honestly say that my craft room will be all ready for me

to

come home to before i leave. i am down to fine tuning, i have stacks on

the

couch and on the craft table that need to be dealt with and sissy is going

to restain my storage chest and my sewing table and then i am set. i am so

excited. of course there are still alot of things around the house i want

to

do, i want to get our bedroom in shape,my side of the bedroom seems to

catch

everything on the floor and knowing me post surgery i will be even more

clumsy than

now so i have to get ready too,
