Guest guest
Just seen this article: http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/27052011/36/ford-develops-heart-attack-warning-seat-0.htmlIt mainly focusses on heart attacks, but there is a mention of cars having the technology to alert asthmatic drivers to dangers for them, an anti allergen system, and for diabetic drivers to monitor blood sugar levels etc.I know some cars do alreadty have anti allergen systems in now - I had a hire car in Spain last year (a Citroen C3 Picasso, which I loved and really want - I was really tempted to just drive it all the way back to the UK!) had a pollen filter, and I drove through a big cloud of dust alongside roadworks, and NONE of it came into the car. Similarly, my Renault Modus has a switch so I can turn the air input to recycled air from the car rather than air from outdoors, sich as if the pollen levels are high, pollution, other chemicals in the air etc. I don't know if it does the same for the AC as I won't use it.JennTha can tek t'lass outta Yorkshire...! Don't brand me, don't classify me, don't tell me what to wear. I'll be who I want to be, and I'm proud to be me.
Guest guest
Volvo has pollen filters in their cars too. We noticed that when Ive had problems with my asthma, riding in the car seems to relax me if its for any length of time. s car (the volvo) stays much cleaner than my truck. He also has the recirculate function on his car too. I dont have either....and my truck is filthy during pollen season. I do like the option of the cabin filter.
