Believe it or not, Bronchiectasis is classified as an " Orphan Disease " and they study it in the Rare and Infectious Disease Unit at NIH (which is where I attend for the clinical trial). I can update everyone if they want of any new treatments and information that comes out of this study. > > > >- Janine > I am kinda wondering if the bronc is very prevelant in males as I have it to a moderate degree with plenty sputum. Been on several antibiotics and inhalers but, if it cures, it is terribly slow. Have been diagnosed several years ago with removal of part of lung 40 years ago but it is a lot worse than it was 40 years ago. Been thru CT scans, broncoscopes too. Have to get up an after an hour or so to clear lungs practically every night. >>- Al
