Guest guest
, I am taking iron (195 mgs.). I had a bottle of iron from CVS and take 3 of them, which adds up to 195 mgs. I read some posts about this and it said to take approx. 200 mgs. and then retest after a few months. I could actually feel it working, the first day I took some: more energy, mental clarity, etc... My Ferritin level was 28 (I thing I read that normal is between 80- 90). I went back over the last year's bloodwork and my ferritin has been low for at least 1.5 yrs. and the 2 doctor's that tested it didn't pick up on that (What a " surprise:!!) I take cynomel 5 times a day, along with my HC. I added the fifth dose (by splitting up one of the first 4) because I was soooo tired in the morning and this last dose, that I take at bedtime.. helped immensely. Hope this helps, > > > Val, > > > > After starting 195 mgs. ferritin an few weeks ago, I have been > > feeling almost " normal " .
