Yes, asthma can lead into COPD/emphysema over time.

The ER Doctor said asthma can turn into COPD or Emphazema

Is that true. A pulmonary function test at a pulmonologists office said my lung function could be the beginning of COPD, but my regular pulmonologist said that I have mild Asthma. I don't see how I have mild asthma.
