Guest guest
OOPS! I woke up when they took my gallbladder out....I remember sitting up, people yelling NOO..and being pushed back down...then it was lights out. It mustve been scary to wake up and have something stuck down your throat...I cant imagine that. Hopefully the results will give you some answers, or at the very least, more information that you need to find out what that something else is. Hang in there Mike!! Ann Broncoscopy I had one today ... what an experience! Mostly I slept through it but I had a crazy lady for a nurse. The procedure is not too bad provided the drugs are that good. I advise against waking up mid-way ... a mistake I'd like to not repeat. I'll have the results in about 10 days. My doc thinks that all my symptoms are 2/3 asthma and 1/3 something else. It is the 'something else' that we are looking for and concerns me. I'll keep you guys informed when I hear something. Mike

Guest guest
It is a diagnostic procedure only ... NOT a cure. In my procedure they inserted an optic cable through my nose, and examined my throat, larynx, trachea and lungs. I have an infiltrate that was sampled by squirting water onto the tissue and suctioning out some of the debris so that it may be examined. The doctor is looking for something along the lines of Chrug-Strauss Syndrome. Mike McBrideLive without pretending, love without depending, listen without defending and speak without offending.
