Guest guest
Dear Adam, I developed multiple sclerosis in 1991 and, over a two year period, gradually overcame it using an alternative treatment suggested by Edgar Cayce, a man many regard as the father of modern holistic medicine. Cayce also suggested a promising alternative treatment for sinusitis. For more information, visit http://www.webspawner.com/users/ecssinusitistx/index.html All the best, Dudley Delany, R.N., M.A., D.C. P.S. I think your brother should stop using soy milk in favor of rice milk or almond milk. Soy is not a health food. http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany
Guest guest
Hi Adam, I am so sorry you brother is having to suffer so much, it is great he has you as a support person because I am sure he is weary. I used to suffer with the major sinus problems also, they never relented and I lived on drugs for years to combat infections and stuffiness and there was a point where nothing worked anymore. I feel that the bowels play such a huge part in this and when I addressed that issue things started to get better and when I modulated my immune system all of those symptoms left for good. If he has seasonal allergies that could be causing the flare up right now, I still occaisonally am affected when I am rundown and the pollen or dust is bad. I am concerned that since he has been on steroids that his bowels are probably out of balance. What kinds of things can he take to help with that?? Pro-biotics would help to re -plenish the good bacteria and enzymes help with digestion.. ALso raw foods but I don't know if he can eat those. How does he get his nutrition because his diet seems lacking in things that can allow his body to build back up and restore itself. Can he take powdered greens, and things like Mannose (from aloe) can really help with stomach problems. I know you have probably heard me say this before but Glyconutrients are very beneficial especially for someone who's diet is so restricted. Almost everything your brother has is considered an auto immune disease which means its all related since the immune system is either working right or not. His system needs to get regulated in many ways if he is to feel better. What makes the difference in a diagnosis of an auto immune illness is where its located in the body, but the root cause is the same, cells are not communicating and messages are getting lost or mixed up. I hope he can get som relief I know first hand the misery of sinus pain and not being able to breathe through the nose. finnfan05 wrote: > Hi Everyone > > I am hoping someone can help. Guest guest
Hi Dudley Thank you very much for this info. I hear what you are saying re the Soya Milk, but Martyn has a very limited diet as it is, and the soya milk (non GMO) is a big part of it. He has tried the rice milk and hates the taste. Thank you for the info Take Care, Adam > > > Dear Adam, > > I developed multiple sclerosis in 1991 and, over a two year period, > gradually overcame it using an alternative treatment suggested by Edgar > Cayce, a man many regard as the father of modern holistic medicine. > Cayce also suggested a promising alternative treatment for sinusitis. > For more information, visit > > http://www.webspawner.com/users/ecssinusitistx/index.html > > All the best, > > Dudley Delany, R.N., M.A., D.C. > > P.S. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for your response. Martyn only eats what I listed and only takes those drugs I listed. Mart won't take any supplements because he views the supplements as the same as taking drugs. He sees no difference and, at the moment, won;t take anything else because he says he is on enough with those 3 (plus sinus tablets etc). He will take certain things when things are nbad-i.e. his sinuses now-he will try anything to help those. I take Calcium/Zinc/Magnesium tablets, Vit D, Vit E, Selenium, Evening Primrose Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Gingko Biloba. I do not have MS or his problems (yet?). Pro-Biotics I have looked into, but it's finding one with no lactose in it here in the UK. He sometimes has Bromelain tablets with his evening meal as he thought they helped a bit once. Thank you again , Take Care, Adam > > > Hi Everyone > > > > I am hoping someone can help. Guest guest
Hi Adam. A good product for symptom relief is Okra Pepsin E-3. It stimulates the body to get rid of mucus. The sinus headaches are a symptom of an underlying health problem (of which your brother has many). I think his diet is a big problem for him. I would definitely stay away from soy. Like Dudley said, it isn't a health food and it isn't easily digestible. Those drugs aren't helping him heal either. It doesn't even sound like they're managing his symptoms. You have your work cut out for you. I wish you well, > > Hi Everyone > > I am hoping someone can help. Guest guest
Hi Thank you for responding and for the info. I will look into the Okra Pepsin E-3 and pass the info on. As I was saying to Dudley, due to the gastro issues, Mart's diet is very limited as it is, I hear what you are saying re the theory of some re Soya, and I have informed my Brother. However, he really dislikes rice milk. Thanks again, Adam > > > > Hi Everyone > > > > I am hoping someone can help. Guest guest
Hi Adam, I know how hard it is to want to help someone and they don't want to change. I have given up on several members of my husbands family, they are all going to die very young because of their unwillingness to change their ways. My side of the family has always been on board with supplements, my mom had me on cod liver oil, lecithin, brewers yeast, garlic and parsley when I was younger. Now days people think they are really doing something if they take a few things like that and yet they did it 50 years ago andthe food was not even depleted yet and they had no mircrowave foods, hardly any processed foods. I think people are coming back around but it seems so slow. The herbal I use is From Mannatech and they don't have it in the UK. Some of the products cannot get approved over there. I will tell whats in it and perhaps you could find something similiar, it has worked better then any other product I had tried over the years. I don't much use it any more but occaisionaly in my line of work I am exposed to lots of mold, dust and pollen all at once and I will take it for a few days during these times to prevent an allergy attack, so far so good, but of course my immune system is really balanced. Here is the ingredients: Boneset, Lemon Verbena,Sage, Catnip, Peppermint, Yarrow, Horsehound also small amount of vitamin C from Acerola Fruit 53mg. and 84 mg. of Ambrotose. Hope you can find something he can take to relieve is misery. finnfan05 wrote: > Hi > > Thanks again for your response. > > All I can say is that I constantly try and encourage Martyn to try > these supplements; or at least some basic multi-vit/mineral. Guest guest
Hi Thank you very much for this. I am hoping Martyn will take some supplements soon, if only basic ones. Thank you again for the info. Guest guest
Your welcome Adam, I hope so too. At least you are willing to learn and your health will be better for it. finnfan05 wrote: > Hi > > Thank you very much for this.
