Guest guest
Hi, all I have a somewhat serious but kind of funny question that has just started happening to me for about the past 6 months. Okay if I am sitting up and I get upset and start to cry I start to blackout. I start getting the tunnel vision everything starts to go black of course immediately I stop crying. Well first time this ever happened I was in the car coming home and was upset about a whole bunch of stuff and it just really all piled up and I got upset and started crying and the 2 seconds later started going oh no I can't see the road. Thankfully I was on a back road and just started heading for the shoulder because you could feel the drop off. So I know not to cry in the car at all anymore. I know it is most likely because of the build up of pressure in my head when you cry and it is pushing on something it shouldn't. Also now I cannot look up at the ceiling/sky because when I put my head back down I am extremely dizzy and lightheaded. Anybody? Thoughts, Ideas? Guest guest
This is a reply to from Rene Arias, sent to me by mistake: dt, i had a great neuro who taught me a lot about the brain. One of the things he taught me that I actually remembered is that the brain swells. When we have certain emotions, move in certain ways, drink alcohol, etc.our brains swell. So when you cry your brain swells. For normal people they have room in their heads so that they don't feel the swelling but for Chiarian's we don't have room because of the ACM being somewhat crushed between our skulls and spines. The swelling can cause dizziness, fainting, blackouts, pain, etc. i too had a dizzy spell while driving, that was when i decided to get a different Doctor and said it was time to do something about my symptoms. I was decompressed less than a month later and i have never regretted it! Since there is no cure for ACM i still have symptoms, good days bad days but life is way more tollerable for sure! good luck and take care Nay > > Hi, all I have a somewhat serious but kind of funny question that has just started happening to me for about the past 6 months. > > Okay if I am sitting up and I get upset and start to cry I start to blackout.
