Guest guest
hi lisa! my rotation starting january 6th with the firms BSS2 looks like this: Tuesdays - the firm Complete Aerobics and Weight Training Wednesdays - aerobic stepping (my husband just made me a full sized bench..yay!) Thursdays - the firm TOTAL SCULPT plus ABS Fridays - Taebo Saturdays - FIRM ABS and a 30 minute stretch Sundays - the firm MAX CARDIO BURN Mondays - 3 or 4 mile walk this rotation really concentrates on cardio... my toning is coming along ok but i need to get rid of this fat that is hanging off of my muscles! so this is 5 days of cardio and 2 days of strength training. 7 workouts a week! wheew!! i will be tired and sore but i have to just push through and keep up to my schedule. however i dont recommend that you do this .... you need to rest, especially if you are just starting out with strength training. listen to your body... if you are sore and exhausted then get thee into a hot bath with some epsom salts (i do that ALOT!) oh and also i bought an inexpensive hand-held massager thingy... wow! a hot bath and a massage with that thing really fixes the muscles up great! in february i will be doing another SLIM SERIES rotation and im not allowed to do any other training while im doing that. it is 6 days a week of endurance training... light weights, high reps and fast. cardio is built into the training because it is so fast. in March i will be doing the BSS2 again in some rotation (using heavier weights than the slim series)... if i like the one in january then i will just do that one again. i will definately be doing taebo in conjunction with the firm again. oh! and also there is a fabulous FIRM egroup at irmies4life -- please join and post your firm workouts there if you would like. *~*~*~*~* Carolyn RE: > > Hi Carolyn, I'm doing the Firm 2 system too!! When you first started did you feel this much pain? ON a scale of 1 to 10, (with 10 being you cant walk) I feel about a 7. My entire thighs all the way around are in PAIN! When you're first starting should you wait until you have absolutely no more pain or can you keep going with a little bit of soreness as long as you are able to do the workout? Can you offer any advice on that? I'm going to go to the website you suggested too. Thanks so much!! M

When you > first started did you feel this much pain? hi lisa - oh yah baby ive had my fair share of workout pain! while excessive pain is a message from your body that you must listen to, i dont mind a bit of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) after i workout because then i know that ive actually done something that is effective. in a way i kind of like it sounds crazy i know. the good thing about this excessive pain that you are feeling is that it will go away!! LOL hang in there... i responded to your post about this over on firmies4life so i wont repeat myself here. -carolyn. --- Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
