Guest guest
Let me double check when I go home tonight or at lunch if I remember <G>. How old is your dog? I also give Ascription to my lab (she is 11.5) and I figure the possible long term liver damage is less of a worry than keeping her out of pain. I am also going to probably switch to Rimadyl in a few months but again would only use it long-term on an older dog. Guest guest
My pup has a spot on her pad that is just healing that she ripped off somehow, my Dobe had a big scab on the back of his ear, and my lab has a huge " thing " on her head like a burn. We have an old ancient wall heater and I'm guessing since they love to lay by it they are getting burned. My poing being it seems like if it isn't one dog, it's another! For cracked pads you can use bag balm or if it is really bad go to a pet store or feed store and get Corona or Horseman's Dream made for horses. Also gets rids of callouses on elbows. My dogs I give the meds to are only 50 lbs. I give pills twice, each pill is as follows: Glucosamine 250 mg Chondroitin 200 mg MSM 1500 mg You can also give Vitamin C and E to help with overall health. How tall is he at the shoulders? My dobe is 29 " at the shoulders and about 90 lbs if that gives you an idea of his weight. I don't know if pics go through but here are two pics that show him to maybe give you an idea of your dog's weight.
