OT -- I'm baaaack....

Good Morning All. I'm home. The best part of going on vacation is

coming home... I get excited seeing my city from the plane... And

of course seeing my kitty cat mad at me when I walk through the

door...

Our trip was sensational! (except DH got sick with a cold from the

plane on our way and he was out of commission one day, then I got

sick from him but coughed/sneezed/blew nose through it w/out missing

any sights)

The " Big Day " was PERFECT. Here's my NARANJA! moment from the " Big

Day " ... I had ordered a light blue bridal bouquet to match the blue

sash on my gown for the wedding. Everything was falling into place

the day of the wedding - but she hadn't mentioned the flowers. When I

called, she said that she would be hand delivering minutes before the

ceremony b/c they were to be in the fridge for as long as possible -

and she mentioned that I was to receive a free upgrade on the

bouquet, that it was a surprise... When she walked into my hotel

room, she had 3 branches of purple orchids!!!!!!! I looked and

started yelling 'how did you know?' 'who told you?' - she was looking

at me like I had flipped! I explained that they were my mom's

favorite flowers and that since she passed away I was seeing them or

receiving them everywhere... And tears came up into my eyes and

chills swept through me - Mom was there! Mom was with me and proved

it by giving me orchids on my big day. The planner, her assistant,

and 's aunt just said - don't cry! you'll ruin the makeup!

And... I saw the white butterfly (my dad) the day of the wedding too -

the only time I saw a white butterfly during the trip and it

happened to be the day of the wedding...

I'll have pictures to show - the planner is making a page on her

website with our pictures - so will share the link when it's ready.

& I are thrilled that we had the perfect wedding - the ferry

arrived on time... not a cloud in the sky for our wedding day... (the

following day the clouds rolled in and by the weekend the weather was

much cooler and full of clouds - our day was perfect - a bit on the

hot side though)
