Guest guest
Hello everyone, Dixie form the Subject heading on so many letters I realize that your has gone. I am sorry. It is most painful, and I wish you all the strength love can bring at this time. I am really sorry. Now about our events I am so blurred eyed I can hardly write, but wanted to let you know what happened to us last night. My Don is in the hospital. He had big time chest pain, so I took him up there, one mile. He is still in ER. Arrived there at 1:30 AM, and of course I hadn't even gone to sleep yet. He is going to be put in the Cardiac unit, but I don't know when. I have gone over 30 hours with no sleep at all, and am a zombie. He is doing fine, but they think it's one of three stents he has that is acting up again. I thought he had two stents, but the Doctors assured us today that he has three. They aren't always explicit at the time of the procedure. So more test to find the answer. Of course when he is sick he can't answer questions, or give a correct answer when he does answer. Doctor after Doctor came by to talk and ask questions. Such as it is in a huge Teaching Hospital. Thank goodness for my printed page of information. By the way our hospital has been rated in the top 50 of the nation. When you think of how many there are, then we hold a pretty high record. I called the kids and told them I am going to crash, so not to be calling me. I am far more sorry for you Dixie. My situation actually pales beside yours. It rather puts ours in a whole new perspective. I guess I am just " Frabby. " Love a bunch, Imogene Caregiver for my True Texas Gentleman husband of 35 years. He has LBD with Parkinsonism.
