Guest guest
Hi , AAFB - acid and alcohol fast bacilli – the test used when there are sx suggesting pulmonary TB. A positive test indicates a probable mycobacterial infection and can show resistance. In his case they could tell that it was not mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and that it was resistant to isoniazid. Thanks, Pamela www.medical-herbalist.net ________________________________________ From: ukherbal-list [mailto:ukherbal-list ] On Behalf Of Menzies-Trull Sent: 06 July 2010 12:30 To: ukherbal-list Subject: RE: Chronic cough + sx like tuberculosis Dear Pamela What does AAPD mean that you mention of this 80 year old man. www.isisherbs.co.uk ---------------------------------------------- This mail sent through http://www.ukonline.net
