Thank you for response.. I misunderstood  you earlier. However later posts were extreemly useful. This is the first time I hear of biofeedback? Has anyone in this group tried it, recomend it, knows of costs..? My update w/ daughter.I have just ordered oxypowder since mag0calcium did not work w/ me (maybe because of calcium).Gave her few nights ago bit of lactulose, JUST in few hours she got yeast infection ..I'm stil treating it..but had no idea b4 that lactulose was that bad..I cant give her FruitEze because of sugar issues w/ yeast now being present. Right now I am just using Kirkmans probiotics(lots)..Its a little bit hard on her stomach I think.I wonder if get probiotics w/ 400 billion good bacteria, would do a job and be ok w/ her stomach? Has anyone tried healing process just w/ BIG

probiotic..

the kirkman's is the best thing for you right now if she has yeast issues although if you are treating a yeast infection with antibiotics, then you should wait to give the probiotics. Kirkman makes a chewable that you can control the dose with. How much probiotic are you giving and what are you treating the yeast infection with?

I give her about 6 Kirkmans, she'll just take that many, but she complained also of stomache last night so I think it may be hard on her all of the sudden? Is that possible.I heard you need at least 400 billion, but that's impossible w/ kirkmans..otherwise I 'd be giving her 20 of them or so..That's why i was asking for big probiotics..Has anyone use it regularly or its too harsh on the childrens stomach..?I put some Clotimazole cream vaginaly on her, and tried to restrict sugar..

Azra,

try these, they are wonderful, start low like a half of a tablet. There are several strains. This is the only thing that ever worked for us without needing a laxative. They contain xylitol which works like a natural laxative and replenish the good bacteria too!

we had to use it often before we

figured out why our daughter was having constant yeast infections from

the daily antibiotics she was on for ureter reflux. now she never gets

them of course since kirkmans and the avoidance of antibiotics as much

as possible.

I'll try anything though after learning of all the side effects of

By the way, I don't know if she ever experienced burning on Miralax

because she is non-verbal.

Ok, it's now been almost 3 days again and nothing. Will I have to use Pedia-lax

each time just to get her to have a BM? I understand Miralax's negative

effects, but I hate to have to do an enema each time to get her to go. She

might be with holding, I don't know. Anyway, I'm still giving a daily

probiotic, Kid's Calm, Fruit-eze, and I just tried Aloe Vera juice today... she

did have a rash on her face tonight so not sure if that is from the aloe or not.

She may be witholding! My son is a holder as well.....even with all the good stuff. The fruit-eze is working well but we have to make an effort daily to make him sit on the potty and poop. It's a control thing for us at this point though! Try having daily potty sits!

She went this morning on her own! Although we saw the pediatrician today and he

said he could still feel some in her :( It's a start. If only she could tell

me when she needs to go, it would be so much easier! At least she uses an

adaptive potty seat.

O sorry to hear that!! A lot of times allergies are due to an ill gi and with time of healing the gi the allergies decrease and can even stop. Oregeno oil also does what olive leaf does healing wise, but more potent, has she tested for oregeno(highly recommend probiotics with the use of oregeno)? Have you tried vitamin C for stool mover? Once or twice a week if needed, I use higher dose C in grams to get my son cleaned out. Now he has hirschsprungs and so Im sure I use more than others would need for stool moving with C. Consider 1000mg/1gram at 1st and see if that works, if not move up to 2grams following day.C is excreted(loose stools) from the body of what is not needed. Also C has ingredients in it that kills fungal/yeast issues similar to what olive leaf does etc. Fungal/yeast issues are a huge gi problem and causing constipation and motility issues and allergy issues. Lots of spring mountain water(no tap/chlorine) !! With the cp diagnoses im

sure she has motility issues with the gi as well so more stimulant type movers would be better. As mentioned earlier, aloe vera juice etc. Some magnesiums can cause more relaxed muscles and slower contractions, there is some controversy with this. We find it depends on the magnesium form being used. We have success with a citrate/oxide combo of magnesium but have noticed any forms of mag citrate shouldnt be used daily and more as an as needed supplement. It seems to cause stomach sensitivity if over used. Jennie<><> > > > > > From: Swartz <diana.swartz64@ >> > Subject: Getting nervous - it's not working> > To: miralax@yahoogroups .com> >

We were out of town last Monday morning when the last try on Miralax definitely had her cleaned out.Abigail is G-tube fed and right now gets EO28 Splash only (an elemental formula). I started the Fruit-eze after flying back home on Tuesday morning. She did not go again until Friday night when I gave her a Pedia-Lax. That is when she screamed because it would not come out. I had to help pull it out! Then, we did another Pedia-lax Saturday morning (yesterday). I think she is all cleaned out now, I hope! I know this is a chronic problem, that is why I'm worried.I'll try anything though after learning of all the side effects of Mirlax!By the way, I don't know if she ever experienced burning on Miralax because she is non-verbal.> > From: Swartz <diana.swartz64@ ...>> Subject: Getting nervous - it's not working> To: miralax@yahoogroups .com> Date: Saturday, April 18, 2009, 11:03 AM> > > > > > > > > Ok, still fairly new here. , there is something that Miralax can do and that is seize the bowel up..........it's called illeus, it's written on the FDA adverse reactions which I went over with my doc. Give it some time as this side affect that puts the bowel to sleep will take some time to adjust. Did you introduce one thing at a time or add all three at once? You may want to try kirkman's chewable soley..........this is the only thing that works for us without using a laxativehttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/miralax/files/

Ok, it's now been almost 3 days again and nothing. Will I have to use Pedia-lax each time just to get her to have a BM? I understand Miralax's negative effects, but I hate to have to do an enema each time to get her to go. She might be with holding, I don't know. Anyway, I'm still giving a daily probiotic, Kid's Calm, Fruit-eze, and I just tried Aloe Vera juice today... she did have a rash on her face tonight so not sure if that is from the aloe or not.> > > > From: Swartz <diana.swartz64@ >> > Subject: Getting nervous - it's not working> > To: miralax@yahoogroups .com> > Date: Saturday, April 18, 2009, 11:03 AM> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Ok, still fairly new here.
