I'm sending a link to a new research article about the impacts of oxytocin on

aspergers autism here = preliminary research , it does seem somewhat relevant to

those of us with " empty sella " sorts of syndrome =impacts , given the clues to

aspger's like involvment with some acm cases ( and improvement parents have

noticed =shared THEY belive may be a related to decompresion improvment in

their childs asbergers .

It may be worth noting =thinking though = that prior disucssion here and in

other acm suport group settings = have found quite a few of us with unusual

oxytocin sorts of signs =symtpoms too = such as both Kathleen and I finding

breast milk ties many many years after pregnancy /and nursing . = it's been 30

years now since I nursed a child =but I can still express a bit of milk easily

now .

This stuff isn't earth shattering really ==but there are more and more " clues "

comming forward , that that " empty sella syndrome " impacts =entwinment of stuff

like asbergers type symtpoms = may all tie together .

I don't know how soon = we may see more research into this sort of possible tied

stuff = but I'm encouraged to know that NIH budget was signed with the paragraph

included about the need for acm tied research .

I want to chime in on this.  I do have a " partially " empty sella according to Dr

Mora at TCI.  ALL pituitary labs of mine are in the low end of the " normal "

range.  Some are so low as to be very concerning.  I believe that if one gets

these tested and, if needed, corrected, then one will have an alleviation of a

MULTITUDE of symptoms.

I encourage anyone that has an empty sella or anyone with ACM to look over info

about what hypopituitary symptoms are and if they could possibly be related to

their case. I NEVER thought once that this could affect me until ALL of my pit

hormones came back very low. Many of the symptoms I experience now (post TC and

ACM surgeries) are probably from these.

If you have any questions or would like some good sites, I can direct you to

them.  Email me privately and we can go from there.
