Guest guest Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share Posted January 18, 2010 I'm curios about any of you that have children with chiari. I have Chiari, and I'm starting to think my 5 yr. old son has it. The only obvious sign he is showing is headaches, but they don't seem like really bad ones that make him go to bed or anything. His sleeping problem is what's worrying me. I've seen that video of that 3 yr. old that could never sleep and he was diagnosed with it. Well that's like my son. He will sleep but wakes up every hour and eventually around 3-5am he's up for good. and after a couple of hours he's so irritable he's acting out calling names hitting and throwing things just like that little boy in the video. My son was also a late talker he didn't really start talking til he was 2. So what I am wondering is any of u with children of chiari could tell me their signs and symptoms. Maybe I'm missing some of his signs by not knowing them, or maybe he doesn't have enough to be worried I don't know.
