I wanted to quickly reply that we (CCI) also have a Chiari Parents Group! It's

good that you posted here, as well, and I know you will receive many replies.

Also, although I am not a parent of a Chiari kid, I have read here about the

violent behavior (anger, acting out, hitting and kicking etc) of children with

Chiari. We asked Dr. Bolognese once of The Chiari Institute and he told us that

this was very common for a child to do who has severe pain in the brain. In

fact, I believe he said it is one of the classic symptoms for children with

Chiari.

Well that's like my son. He will sleep but wakes up every hour and eventually

around 3-5am he's up for good. and after a couple of hours he's so irritable

he's acting out calling names hitting and throwing things just like that little

boy in the video. My son was also a late talker he didn't really start talking

til he was 2. So what I am wondering is any of u with children of chiari could

tell me their signs and symptoms. Maybe I'm missing some of his signs by not

knowing them, or maybe he doesn't have enough to be worried I don't know.
