Hello!

Clostridia is a bad bacteria in the GI tract. If overgroving, they produce bad toxins. My son had in the 900s on his OAT. We treated with Vancomycin, a specifit antibiotic that only kill Clostridia. We saw VERY good results, in behavior and speech after getting the Clostidia under control.

Thanks Sofia.

I will talk to my doc about valcomycis. Also, any possible side effects that I should watch out for?

We did not see any drastic die-off symptoms, but most people have a die-off period for a couple of weeks, but it will pass, sometimes it gets worse before it get better, but you have to stick to the cure of Vancomycin. Our DAN Dr prescribed first 4 weeks then another 3 weeks on. My son was great on it! I would highly recommend it to anyone with Clostidia overgrowth. First I was hesitant because it was a antibiotic but it was not as other broad antibiotics used for kids colds that kill a very broad spectrum of bacteria, good and bad. This one only targets and kills clostridia.

Good Luck!

Sofia
