Guest guest
Hi I'm new to the group. I was diagnosed with MS in December of last year but I've been taking Avonex for 3 years now. I was diagnosed with CIS (Clinically isolated syndrom) about 3 years ago. I have optic neuritis in the my left eye and lesions on my brain. I had an MRI done in November that revealed a new lesion which lead to the MS diagnosis. I'm interested in trying other ways to treat my MS while taking the Avonex. I saw an article on Ferulic Acid. In studies it helps Mice with an MS like disease. It has something to do with the Syncytin virus that we all have. I guess MS patients have levels 3% higher in their brain tissue compared to people without MS. Here's an article. http://thisisms.com/modules.php?name=News & file=article & sid=159 Has anyone here tried ferulic acid? Also, my fillings were done when I was a kid. Probably sometime in the early to mid 1980s. What are the chances that my fillings contain Mercury. Thanks,
