Guest guest
I used the Ojibwa Essiac tea with my daughter for about 6 months when she was first diagnosed. I noticed that it helped, but I don't have any tests to prove it. It is worth a try although it was a battle to get her to drink it at first. After a while she got used to the taste. It was to be brewed a certain way so be sure to read the directions carefully. Thanks! ) > > > I am reading " Recovering Autistic Children " , and one of the recovery stories swears by essiac tea. Guest guest
I used it for about 6 months with my daughter. It's excellent stuff. I stopped only because we started chelating and I thought she was detoxing too much. I have started it again this week though. Here is a list of what it does... http://www.discount-essiac-tea.com/essiac-tea-benefits.html With the subject lately being about healing the liver, the tea seems to do that. It also cleans the blood. It works as an antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral etc. My daughter is much calmer after she has the tea. > > > I am reading " Recovering Autistic Children " , and one of the recovery stories swears by essiac tea. Guest guest
We used Ojibwa tea of Life (one brand of Essiac) for over 2 years. It was the only chelator I would even consider for . This tea normalized my son in so many ways. Friends, neighbors, and school personnel were astounded. The changes were so profound that when contracted a rare infection that made him look "Bipolar", even the school system went to bat for him and insisted that the physical cause of his problems be rooted out, because he had been doing so well even they could see that something was wrong. Had it not been for those changes, chances are that no-one would have looked for and uncovered that infection. I know of many other autistic kids who have been helped, some a little and others a great deal. I have numerous cancer, candida, eczema and chronic fatigue stories from family, friends, and people I know. is going to be starting HBOT soon for his Crohn's disease, and we may be trying it again, just to see if there's some benefit.michellebondy wrote: I used it for about 6 months with my daughter. Guest guest
The original is www.essiac-resperin.com - it's from Canada. There are many other essiac teas which make the same claims but have different formulations. I haven't used this but heard it is particularly good for cancer patients. > > > > > > I am reading " Recovering Autistic Children " , and one of the recovery > stories swears by essiac tea. Guest guest
- Dana, Call your local healthfood store and see if they have it. Ask them if it's organic. You want a good quality source. I get mine from Ojibawa online, but the shipping is ridiculous for a small bag, so I am getting it local next time. If you get it, start slow with it. Start with one tbsp and work up to 2tbsp twice a day. Ours doesn't taste too bad. I do give it with some juice though. When i first gave it to Ruby her rash on her bum went away and she eliminated a million parasites. It's great stuff, I love it and will not stop it this time. -- In mb12 valtrex , dana pope wrote: > > Where do you get this tea? Guest guest
Wow! ! Thanks! I need to get this stuff! My boys have all the yucky stuff - yeast, bacteria, most likely parasites since they mouth everything. I need to just go ahead and order it now! Thanks again. Guest guest
-It is excellent and it cleans up and works on the liver. It also cleans up the blood. It's mostly used to cure cancer and HIV. Read up on it, the story of it is so interesting. I have a feeling Dr. Peng's drink is very similar to the Essiac. -- In mb12 valtrex , dana pope wrote: > > Wow! ! Thanks! I need to get this stuff! Guest guest
I got mine from www.ojibwatea.com. That particular formulation is certified organic, non-irradiated and pesticide free. I'm sure there are others good ones, you can get the original formula on line if you want and make your own Most health food stores carry some variation, but I would avoid "factory made" stuff that was packaged months in advance. If you have friends who might want it, you can buy it in bulk and save, and the shipping is cheaper that way. that's what we did.pjthreeboys wrote: The original is www.essiac-resperin.com - it's from Canada. Guest guest
was one of those "miracle responders" to B6/magnesium, intensive nutritional, anti-infection, and sensory/behavioral intervention. He entered kindergarten without an educational classification, eventually having a lable of "other health impaired" to cover his immune deficits and his need for OT/PT and speech. He rapidly outgrew his need for each of those, and by the end of second grade, he had no need for them. At this stage he was extremely smart in school, but struggled with getting along with his peers because he was very inflexible in his thinking, and he was targeted by one bully because he had facial tics and repetitive hand movements he could not control. was fairly easy going at home, but he got into trouble a lot in school because of his temper. He had friends outside of school went to scouts, played at friends' houses. Even so, he really had trouble accepting other people's point of view, lacked empathy at times, and he never talked about simple things like what went on at school, even if things had gone badly and he had gotten into trouble. He recognized that he had trouble understanding others, even saying a few times that he was better at "getting" cats than humans. started Ojibwa tea at age 10, and he liked it immediately because it "made him feel better." There was an immediate change in his personality, he was much less intense, and he started showing both insight and patience. Everyone who knew commented on the drastic chnge. He and a classmate got into a fight, and wound up in the Principal's office. Unlike prior incidents where there was absolutley no talking with , by the time the Vice Principal got to his office, the two boys talked, and they had apologized to each other and "made up" by the time he got there. Then they both apologized to him for fighting! He was shocked. I would not say that 's autism is "cured" even today, because the underlying illness that has caused so many symptoms is still there. He is seriously ill with Crohn's disease and Lyme Disease. Ojibwa Tea brought him very far very quickly. Without it, people would always have noticed 's "odd" behavior, and it would always have set him apart from others. He also gained 40 pounds in a short period of time, going from the 3rd %ile in height and weight to an average build. His improvement in appetite and absorption of food was very noticeable. nancylee9 wrote: Did this tea recover your son from autism? Re: Re: Essiac Tea? Cross Post>>I got mine from www.ojibwatea.com.
