Guest guest Posted May 28, 2009 Report Share Posted May 28, 2009 I am beyond upset. Neurosurgery refused to do anything,said scans look good,ordered diamox. Pediatrician said they would watch her till morning. No one here wants to do anything to help Maddy. We can't afford to take her anywhere else. I am unable to work because Maddy is in and out so much. So I am gonna take her home,there is no point of watching her overnight,neurosurgery didnt even come by to see her. I guess we do the diamox and wait and see some more. I just wonder if diamox can lose its effectiveness as it doesn't seem to work as well as it used to,maybe its bcause she was on it for nearly 4 weeks, then on and off again for another 1 or so. Neurosurgery ordered diamox to cover their ass,she will eat and drink ok on it and no have any seizures. i just dont know what to do anymore.so im just waiting for the discharge papers then we can go.
