Guest guest Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 i was confined for 6 days in the hospital due to my asthma. unfortunately now i am also allergic to my prednisone and ansimar. my Dr. said i am the only patient that he has who has this allergy to both meds. i can only take inhaled steroids, like budesonide. my controller is symbicort 320 and also meptin as needed. but what really bothers me beside my asthma is the tightness in my throat. my Dr. also added epinephrin on my nebulizer together with my budesonide, this somehow helped a bit on the throat tightness.i was discharged from the hospital for 1 week and 5 days now...but i still have the tightness in my throat. often i have hoarseness in my voice. yesterday bad wheezing!!! is this because i did not take prednisone or is it because of what i recently discovered VCD?
