Guest guest
Hi All - About three weeks ago someone posted a note from another group about Tori Tuncan's Lend4Health being in the running for a $10,000 prize from Ideablob.com. Well, the idea won and now the idea is up against all the semifinalists from the month - and is in 5th place. Only one idea walks away from this with $10,000. Wouldn't it be great if it were for an idea that promotes helping families with the cost of biomedical treatment for autism? If you voted last time, WE NEED YOU TO VOTE AGAIN for this final contest. You will need to register to vote (if you voted last time, just dig out that password)-it only takes a few minutes. Go to http://www.ideablob.com - this month's race in on the main page on the right side. Voting is free. You do need to provide your email address and register on the site, but I promise this is not a scam website. Advanta is a credit card for small businesses and has teamed up with such great non-profits as Kiva.org. If you are not familiar w/ the idea, Lend4Health, it is a website to facilitate community-based, interest-free " microloans " for health. Currently, I am facilitating loans for the biomedical treatment of children with autism. We have collected more than $7,000 in loans so far and have helped 12 kids (two loans are currently open on the site). Because they are loans, the money is supposed to be repaid, at which point you can re-pocket it or re-lend it to help another child. The site is at http://www.lend4hea lth.blogspot. com if you want to check it out. I started this site only 3 months ago, so we are doing pretty well. Thank you so much for your help on this! Lend4Health really could do a lot with $10,000!!! Please vote and send the voting link to everybody you know, if you are so inclined. Every vote counts!
