Huge Grandma Bragging Time

Hi All

Had to brag. Yesterday our family was together for Easter, so Adam's mom

thought it would be a good time to show off. We were all so surprised when she

handed Adam a paper with sentences on it and Adam began to read them out loud to

everyone. The room got quiet as Adam read - I see the cat. I see the dog. I

see the elephant (a My Baby Can Read word). I see mommy. and a bunch of other

words. Of course, his auntie thought it was just memorized so she wrote a

sentence from some of the kindergarten site words and he read it to everyone.

With Adam being basically nonverbal, his mom had no idea he could do this. She

was playing a video game with him where you have to name the pets and noticed

Adam was giving them all names of words he knows - a dog named mommy, a bird

named cat, etc. So she just wrote a sentence and he read it. He never stops

amazing us.
