Guest guest Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 Hi..well I finally made it to my ESI appointment, and to all of you who said it " hurt like the dickens " ...it did. The analgesic hurt ..the shot to numb you somewhat. The actual injection felt burning and pressure and some pretty intense pain in my spine. He injected it just below C-7 and we both hope to see some improvement in my pain over the next three days. I had to lie face down and overextend my neck, which I'm certain caused some of this mornings new pain. Has anyone experienced total pain relief from these steroids and how soon did you notice pain-relief. I am starting PT tomorrow and am trying to stay positive about this whole ordeal.
