(Jo Ann writes) I'm behind in reading my emails but hope that everything works out for the best. (I enter) It has .... I started looking for another job for a variety of reasons. A big one was to reduce the stress level at work. A LARGE part of that was coming from the internal politics regarding the state Dept of Corrections and the contractors competing for the various contracts. We are on the loosing end and I was notified Friday at 2pm that I was to be terminated but that I might be given up to 2 more weeks to help smooth out the transition. I arrived at home at 3pm. A mere 15 minutes later I received a call from another company offering a position with them pending my passing a drug test. It was a roller coaster day, but I will be leaving my jail job

shortly (maybe Monday) and will start up with the new employer as soon as I may. This has not been announced at work so I am keeping the discussions here and not on Face Book.
