Guest guest
Hi , I understand what you meant, and I hope you do get to see your family soon! In this lovely post millennial plus a decade crumbling economy, there are few folks who have any illusions about attaining wealth. For many of us, " a lot of money " means being able to do a just little bit more than pay the bills on time. And for 1/6th of Americans, it means keeping a roof over their heads and food on the table. Thank you for the update. and I talk a lot about the future of " our " community. As you know , is still very involved and always will be. Our community needs more people like you! I really do admire what you are doing, because though many were united during the height of the autism awareness revolution, with the pressures of the dwindling economy, they had to get on with their lives, and have scaled back what they do, hoping that agencies will pick up the slack. Well agencies did pick up the slack when the money was there, but now their funding has been cut. The need is still there and it always will be and we need thoughtful, sensible and articulate voices to speak for " our " community. Thank you for putting yourself out there to be one of them! - Helen > > A lot of money for me right now is being able to go out and do a few things I can't do at this current time - like flying home to see my immediate relatives. Just wanted to clarify. > >
