Wow.. I'm sorry I missed that show. If high protein is a key, then all

people on the low carb, high protein diet should be on the right road.

Let's hope that this will help everyone to lower some of the fibro

symptoms. I wish that I could try it, but I'm stuck with the

protein/fat/carb limits that have been laid out for me. Wish you all

the best of success with it, for those trying it.

I love Sylvia but I don't think she has the right to be a doctor. I saw that

episode and it upset me that she said that. She isn't a doctor, she's a psychic

(and a damn good one!) so she shouldn't go around doing that. MHO

Kris,

No disrespect intended, but what I said has IN FACT been proven. I

didn't just pull that out of my behind.

The ONLY way my husband can lose weight is on the protein diet, so I

have made it my business to know all about it. It does work--as

long as you stay on it--but it's hard on your body. And one of the

key reasons is dehydration since carbs help your body hold in water.

I actually find your response here to be a tad on the rude side...

> Ok, this has NEVER been proven at all whatsoever, so please don't

give opinions that aren't based on anything BUT opinions, NO

SCIENCE. You should not have too much protein true, but most " low-

carb " diets are MODERATE protein, HIGH FAT, diets. And again, no

danger has ever been proven.

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't

be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that

situation better.

Have a nice day everyone.
