Guest guest Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 T3 (RIA) 108 Range 45-150 T4 2.77 Range 1.0-4.0 Free T4 30.8 Range 8-40 Free T3 5.8 (high) Range 1.7-5.3 T3 Autoantibodies 1.1 Range Less than 2 T4 Autoantibodies 1.0 RAnge Less than 2 TSH .58 Range 0-.60 Thyroglobulin Autoantibodies 3 Less than 20negative Well blood levels look fine but I do see a problem. The TSH is higher than it shoudl be for that high Free T3. This tells me at the tissue level the T3 is probably low meaning the thyroid is not gettign ot the cells. I would try this dog on 2.5mg Pred in the AM. Is there a specialist we should see or should we consider treating on our own? Is there any testing that is good for canines for adrenal insuff? Anything natural we can do for her that might help? Do you know this lab and if they are reliable?
