Guest guest
Hi ! Just wanted to say that sometimes I take Norco (10 hydrocodoen/325 tylenol) twice at once or real close together. When you are in pain, you CANNOT become addicted. I got that from several doctors. Yes, we are dependent, but like a diabetic is dependent on insulin. Don't be hard on yourself for taking whatever it takes for relief. Be Peace, ) ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Earth is my home and animals are my family. Guest guest
I always hate it when I get the addiction speech from my doctors. If you're in pain you have to take something, and it doesn't matter what you take, you need it. Even if it's plain aspirin, if you take it every day does that mean you're addicted to aspirin? Doctors don't lecture about taking aspirin, even if you take 20 a day. I'm BiPolar, and take all kinds of meds for it. I have to take them every day for the rest of my life. Does that mean I'm addicted to them? In my mind, if you need something for pain, it's no more addictive on your part than it is to take an antidepressant or anti-psychotic for the rest of your life. cyn At 09:23 PM 8/10/2004 +0000, geekygranny@... wrote: >Just wanted to say that sometimes I take Norco (10 hydrocodoen/325 >tylenol) twice at once or real close together. Guest guest
I didn't know Neurontin was popular on the streets. And Seroquel, which I take at night, is a very potent drug. The pdoc started me out on 25 mg per night, and it knocked me out. Now I'm taking 600 mg/day, and I don't even feel it. Once I gave a 25 mg to a friend, he's 6'7 " tall, and it knocked him out for 24 hours. When I told him how much I was taking he said he couldn't understand how I was able to function. cyn At 03:08 PM 8/10/2004 -0700, wrote: >I suppose it's more that they don't want people to sell them. Guest guest
Yes, this friend was having problems sleeping. Plus, he'd given me pain meds when mine ran out. cyn At 03:49 PM 8/10/2004 -0700, wrote: >Yeah, I've given some of my pain meds to a couple of my friends... but >only if they were in realy pain and I could see it.
