Guest guest
Hello again - Thank you for the birthday wishes. Today would have been my parents 48th wedding anniversary. Together, Merle and Shirley, have it made for a wonderful celebration. I appreciate you writing and thinking of my dad and me. I always remembered your Granda Bert by my maiden name...dad's surname.. Merle LamBERT. Hugs from this side of the water- Sandie -- Re: Courage - to hear a voice Happy Birthday Merle!! Probably partying up there with Bert...LOL.... .xxxx Courage - to hear a voice Hi Courage- I completely understand and feel what you wrote about " give anything to have a conversation with my mom... " My dad didn't talk the last almost 3 years of his life. He was so internally tormented by LBD and couldn't even tell anyone. Things happened and I could never get an answer for say, the bruises. I truly missed my dad's voice then and still do. Today my dad would have been 69 years old. I have a funeral to go to Wednesday for 's grandpa, my ex-father-in-law. hmmmm Feeling your need to hear Dear Olivia's voice right along with you- Hugs from the heart- Sandie Des Moines, IA dad, Merle, passed from LBD 9-20-02, age 65 -------Original Message------- From: gaat Date: 07/31/06 09:24:11 I'd give anything to have a conversation with my mom no matter how deluded it is. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that the stress that we all feel lessens if we learn to just roll with this damned disease. Best to you and your mom. Courage Welcome to LBDcaregivers.
