Guest guest
Hi Imogene- Well, lucky for us, I had to work first, now it's time to play. Yes, I would love to go fishing and think/hope my 10 1/2 years with UPS has given me a few muscles. Atleast says I am strong...strong willed and strong in lifting. :-)) I am getting together a Caregivers Gathering for 2008. It all started with , in Scotland, saying she is making a trip over here to the U.S. to meet with me. Well, the challenge is on. I organized a gathering in 2003 (check out the photo's in the website). Nothing written in stone as yet. Tentatively scheduled for end of July to first week or 2 in August 2008. Not sure of a place as yet. Will start in the New Year to schedule more seriously, narrowing down a date/place and such. Hoping to get Courage there, or in Canada, which ever happens first. Also, we (many, many of us) want you there as well. I would love to give you a hug in person! You truly are an inspiration! And, smart, too! Happy that the many allergy counts are on the downward spiral for you. It has to be tough being a caregiver and having health issues for you as well. Again, you truly are an inspiration with your many accomplishments and knowing you keep going. So sorry Don ate the chocolate. I would have happily stepped in and ate it for him. Haven't had a chocolate fix as yet...the day is still young. Will NEED to have some soon! York mint, please, please...for me?? Continue to take care of yourself and of your dear Don. As always, you and Don are in my thoughts and prayers. Cyber hugs for now, and hoping to bridge the gap between miles next year to cash in the cyber hugs- Sandie Des Moines, IA -- Iward27663@... wrote: Sandie, what gathering is in the making? Us? We are going to the lab in fifteen minutes for Darling Don to get a Thallium stress test. I haven't kept track of how many he has had, but it's a goodly number. He is doing well all things considered. Yesterday, I was reading off the do's and don'ts before this test, and I plainly told him several times no Chocolate, or coffee. He was writing all the things down, even though I had the List from the lab. While I was taking a bath, he ate chocolate. I can't watch him every second. It was only a York Mint, but still, it was not to be eaten. Thank goodness it wasn't much. The high mold, elm, and ragweed counts have made me pretty sick, but I feel better this morning. Thank goodness the count is going down. This test will take four hours, so I am taking reading material. I'll be back, and dear don't go fishing without me. Love a bunch, Imogene P.S. I didn't get this sent so here I am with a follow-up and a question for . Don had lots of hallucinations after the Thallium stress test. Well, it started right after a medication was used, and then they sent him back to the waiting room with me, until the medicine " took " . Don was seeing cats running by, a cow, and a donkey. He was confused, and very woozy-like. , do you know about the medication for his type of test? Is it known to mess up LBD patients? You expertise on this is appreciated very much. Don had a lot of pressure in his chest, and tingling in his arm and hand. They stopped the test. We will learn later if it was the same or getting worse. Now, Sandie, we can go fishing. I am home now, and ready to go. The only thing dear, I hope you are strong enough to pull in a big heavy 500yd net. Perfect!? Thanks for chatting/corresponding Imogene. I have enjoyed this one. How is your dear Don doing? And, how is your health holding up? Do remember there is a gathering in the making for 2008 and I would put in a strong wager that you will be wanted in attendance! I am sure people would buy tickets in order to meet with you dear Imogene! I would buy my own raffle ticket to be able to meet you in person...wait, double charge myself...that isn't very smart. See, I need your brain! Love and Hugs- Sandie ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
