the first nh dad was in the had bedrails up on any bed that they didnt want the

patient up and around, in teh second and better nh they had a variety of

mattresses, incluindg some that had rails if the patient was bed bound, and

theaptient also wore a badge taht could tell if they were falling out of or

trying to get out of bed, some of the patients that had a fall risk but still

were somewaht mobile they had their mattresses on some of the rubber underpads

so the mattress wouldnt slide as the patient got up or fell into bed. this

worked great for one old man who was there when daddy died. hugs sharon
