Guest guest
Please let us know if you find out anything. I have been told there is no relief. Hanna Subject: Tinnitus To: Date: Sunday, November 22, 2009, 9:43 AM  Hi Everyone...I was wondering if anyone takes anything for this....at times the ringing in my ears and other weird sounds are just so intolerable i cant stand it and want to pull my hair out. I haven't asked my Doctor yet if she can give me anything for this or not. Just wondering what works, if anything for others first. Thanks in advance for the replies. Hoping everyone is having a pain free day! HUGS!
Guest guest
My understanding it is a symptom of hashi's. At least in my experience I have had tinnitus my entire life and thyroid replacement drugs didn't make it better or worse. (in SD) Hello. Just wondering everyone's thoughts on this. My dd 10 who has had hypothyroidism diagnosed at 7 now has pretty severe tinnitus. What would be more likely causing it.... would it just be due to her autoimmune disease or could a medication side affect be causing it? She has been taking prevacid since september . Thanks, cathy
Guest guest
thanks, The tinnitus is new for her and she also has constant dizziness and headaches which are severe. I am wondering if bad tinnitus can cause dizziness. We recently just down her thyroid medicaton as she was over medicated .. with racing heart etc. but the dizziness/headaches and tinnitus continue. thanks, cathy > > > > > > > Hello. > > > > Just wondering everyone's thoughts on this. Guest guest
my longest running symptom +including the Dizziness and spaciness and even Dandy's symptoms its a HYPOT/hashis /Adrenal Fatigue symptom.. you can have any or all and they will cause tinnitus/dizzy/spacy /even dandy's.. long story short the " Adrenal Fatiuge " process causes this PER conventional medical literature )BUT you have to go read the texts separately and learn the lingo... or you won't Recognize the documents that are imparting this info the stress system's chemicals (stress hormoens and Catecholamines which act as Neurotransmitters in our Brain and nerouvs system and CSF fluid) are known to affect the inner ear and cause tinnitus (and menierre's) remember that the hypothalamus uses the SNS to tell the adrenals to release Adrenaline and Noradrenalinea and they are the CatecholAMines and the Catecholamines mediate Vasopressin (And CRH) the 2 Hypothalamus Stress-hormones (That act as Neurotrnasmitters when released direclty into the brain or CSF of nervous system btw) and ofcourse Vasopressin (AKA ADH) and CRH are the 'head' of the HPA Axis and ALL of the stress hormoens of the Pituitary and Adrneals GOOGLE: tinnitus + Vasopressin ENdolymphic Hydrops + Vasopressin then add Hypothryoid to the Search bottom line " Adrenal Fatigue " is a Stupid name for what is really a problem with the entire stress system and stress load and stress sensing /response.. and the good news is that the " Adrenal Fatiuge " doctors are right on track with both their nutriiton and LIfestyle guidelines adn their test for 24hr cortiosl saliva (See ZRT labs to order a 24hr cortisol saliva Test kit ) EZ and great for kids ; saliva test just spit a lot into 4 tubes thru day) mail next day -Carol i like DR Lam's Adrneal Fatigue website (only doctor that actually admits the HPA Axis and SYmpathoadrneal system is part of " Adrenal Faituge " DR 's " Adrenal Fatiuge " book is great EZ to understand rules on nutrition /eating times/ and " Stress reframing etc.. sugar /carb guidelines etc. lowe the stress load including OPtimizing all thryoid levels allow time to heal the stress system /parts and time for them to calm down from being in stress mode.. doing all that helps the liver and its sugar handling and Detox pathways too! (all stress reponses activate and alarm our Sugar Handling systmes = pancreas and LIVER = storage form of glucose) = all of that helps the inner ear > > > > > > > > > > > Hello. > > > > > > Just wondering everyone's thoughts on this. Guest guest
sorry; re: headache its a known symtpo of hypot but its more complex than that why don't all hypot patients get headaches/ including sever headaches? cuz underlying systemss must be invovled: - Dilutional HypOnatremia = low sodium to water ratio can cause headaches just as mmuch as low serium sodium levels do.. the cause of Dilutional hyponatremai?? is HIgher vasopressin Note: conventional medicine has documented the fact that HYPOT patients typically have chronically, slighlty=high Vasopressin hormoen levels!! which ALL doctors ignore -use Celtic Sea Salt /based on low OR High cortisol status )(less salt for high-C AF patients and MORE salt for Low-C AF patients ======= Idiopathic INtrracranial Hypertension =higher pressure in teh CSF fluid and HYPOT and low IRON anemia and High and low Cortisol are all listed on the IIH literature! hey! that is part of the reason why all the thryoid PATIENT fourms have figured out that we must test the following and OPtimize them via lifestyle changes And in SOME cases via Supplements and/oR RX - Free t3 and Free t4 and Reverse t3 - test Ferritin (s/b 70 -90) and FUll iron Panel - learn about " Adrneal Fatiuge " _the science behind that silly name P) and do a _24HR cortisol Saliva (4+ X DAY) test kit. post results QUestion: when did your daughters Headaches /sever start? before or after they started her on Thryoid Hormone RX??? how are they determining her dosage and whether she is hypot and hypert?? what tests, assessments /results?? -Carol > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello. > > > > > > > > Just wondering everyone's thoughts on this. Guest guest
yes it does i am wearing a woman's tux right now and i have a monocle but Google Dandy's + balance cuz i can't explain it well..brain fog i cuz haven't read up on it Lately.. just enough to realize i have/had it! for ME: i felt like i was on a TRaMpOLiNe when i was just walking across a flat surface! this was different than one's regular old balance and dizzines issues that are common in tinnitus and espeically MEnierre's Disease. brain fog/damage but i think they know its related to the CSF fluid as much as it can be related to the Inner-ear and " Endolymphic Hydrops (Which HAashis patients can and do get = some literater on the Autoijmune aspect of the Inner ear and specific symptosm folks can have) the medical literature also mention a 'grading system' related to Dandys (modified Dandy's SOmething-or-Other that was created to define what/how bad off a person is in terms of what specific sytmposm and to what degree?... -Carol fwiw i don't think that most hypot/ AF patients who experience ANy slight degree of issues with their CSF fluid ,, realize that this is going on as well... AND i don't know that most of us would test = POsitive just like most of us have " normal " serum Cortisol tests but still we do have " Adrenal Fatiuge'! and i do feel for MOST of us,, if we get the Thryoid hromoneS* optimized and get the Stress system rebalanced (aka " Adrenal Fatiuge and lifestyle changes are KEY) then we can rebalance the pressure in the CSF =and the inner ears (i have always had Ear issues like baby's do on airplanes but i have/had them just driving in a car) > > > > > > > my longest running symptom +including the Dizziness and spaciness and even > > Dandy's symptoms > > > > its a HYPOT/hashis /Adrenal Fatigue symptom.. > > you can have any or all and they will cause tinnitus/dizzy/spacy /even > > dandy's.. > > > > >
