After looking at Chip's and Kathleen's pictures of their surgeries, I am led to

ask...Does everyone get these pictures and they are just on file somewhere? Or,

do you have to request them before your surgery? Thanks.

Hi ,

I asked if Dr. Milhorat if someone could take pictures during my surgery. I had

brought a disposable camera, and he did one better and used his digital camera.

I don't know if all doctors would take pictures or not, but I sure enjoyed

having mine! Smile!

Some surgeons don't like to take any pictures because of the potential for

bad public relations.

For example- it wouldn't look good if they took too wide of a shot and you

could see the Black and Decker jig saw resting on the patients shoulders, or

a beer sitting on the tray that holds the surgical instruments. <g>

LOL Chip, you forgot to mention the " Decompression for Dummies " manual laying

open on the patients head. *GRIN*
