Guest guest
I honestly cannot give you the numbers because they were listed in a chart at the hospital where I did my observations- we just had to look up the ranges. There is a formula, unfortunately its been a year since I have used it and its buried somewhere in my brain right now b/c its collateral information. The tech will tell you when you go in for the test though. I am in nursing school..so not quite a nurse yet..but almost! Its ok to be curious about the test, but dont let yourself get too stressed out about it b/c its really not as bad as it sounds. ann Stress test > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi group, > > Has any one taken a nuclear stress test? > > I had a mild heart attack a few days before Thanksgiving. > > I have asthma. Guest guest
Thanks Ann, I think I'm okay about the test. Thanks to you and all the replies I got from the group. Good luck with the nursing school. What are you specializing in? donachi39 I honestly cannot give you the numbers because they were listed in a chart at the hospital where I did my observations- we just had to look up the ranges. Guest guest
Well we dont get to specialize yet...I will graduate in June, then take the state board test for licensure. If I pass that, I will be a licensed practical nurse. For now Im not going to zero in on a specialty area yet, Id like to get some more generalized experience first, and I plan to also work toward my RN certification as well. Theres a possiblity in my mind of maybe cross training as a respiratory therapist/RN..but nothings solid yet... Good luck on your test.. Guest guest
Hi Ann, I think you would make a terrific respiratory technician, since you know first hand what patients would appreciate. My pulmonolgist has asthma. I think he is more compassionate with his patients since he knows first hand what we go thru.
