Guest guest
I was sent this information, there has been confusion about new patients at TCI, this should clear it up for everyone: * Incoming new patients are pre-screened. Clinically mild cases are assigned to a TCI Neurologist (Dr Kula or Dr Shelat). Clinically severe cases are assigned to a Neurologist and to a TCI Neurosurgeon. * The Neurosurgically relevant incoming new cases are automatically split between Dr Bolognese and Dr Insinga, unless the patient explicitly requests for a given Doctor when the initial consultation is booked with the TCI staffers. * From that point on, the assigned Neurosurgeon is the only TCI Neurosurgeon in charge of the care of that given patient, the other TCI Neurosurgeon getting involved ONLY in case of vacations of the case-assigned Neurosurgeon. * The patient has the right to ask for a transfer of care from one TCI Neurosurgeon to the other, at any point.
