Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone has done tae-bo with ankle/wrist weights. When the workouts become easier would it be okay to use them?
Guest guest
hiya - it is not recommended that you use ankle/wrist weights while doing taebo. taebo was just not designed to be done with weights. this can lead to injury. having said that however, billy does say that boxing gloves are acceptable, but they only weigh about a pound each. also, billy has a new workout coming out that uses weighted balls... and i believe that they weigh one pound each as well. *~*~*~*~* Carolyn RE: > I was wondering if anyone has done tae-bo with ankle/wrist weights. > When the workouts become easier would it be okay to use them? --- Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
You don't want to use those during the workouts, the moves are too fast. Do you wear tennis shoes? If you want extra weight on your feet, wear heavier shoes. For your hands, use boxing gloves. They will add a safe amount of weight. sweetielittlepie wrote: I was wondering if anyone has done tae-bo with ankle/wrist weights. When the workouts become easier would it be okay to use them? Guest guest
Sure as long as you get some good streching in. I sometimes do different streches then the ones in the cool down of the Tae-Bo work outs. I do streches that I remember doing in the Tae-Kwan-Do classes that I took a long time ago. Do you think that's ok?As Deb has said: "Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step.""This isn't about weight loss, it's about enlightenment" -Visit our new vault site http://taeboon.isportsdot.com/
