I thought it was for hallucinations which is why we tried her on it. No

wonder we aren't seeing an improvement (not in any other areas either). I

ll call the doctor about seroquel. I want these !@#$ things gone!

Gladys,

My Mother had good luck with Exelon, but it didn't seem to change her

hallucinations. What helped with her hallucinations and agitation was

Seroquel, but we had to work her up to a fairly high dose before it

really helped. Since Exelon is primarily a memory drug it's possible

that it won't help with the hallucinations. The Exelon really helped

my Mother's communications skills and memory.

I always tried to give a medication change 2 to 4 weeks before I

decided if the change helped or hurt. That way you can hopefully rule

out the normal fluctuations that occur with LBD.
