Guest guest
Sounds like something in your ear is triggering your asthma attacks, I know when one of these things, ears, sinus, are messed up for me, my asthma acts up. Maybe it is all just righting itself, and it will take a while to go back to normal. But, still maybe go to an ER? Let them check it all out and see exactly what is happening? When you say asthma attacks, are they really bad, or just a little miserable, I think if they are really bad, I would go to the ER. Maybe you have inhaled something that is irritating it also. I used to have a hot of trouble with adenoids also, it is all connected in there. To: CP <chronic_pain >; asthma Sent: Tue, October 19, 2010 6:18:47 PMSubject: Very Upset need advice please. Hi all, AS you are aware I recently had surgery for my sinus issues but I have lost hearing in my right ear and I am worrying as My GP says its the Surgeon who needs to sort it out and they are saying it the GP who do I go to? Also its causing me to have asthma attacks I have had 3 in the last 5 hours. I have no idea what else to do. any ideas welcomed greatly From Miss Donna-marie rachel Griffiths UK south wales
Guest guest
Is the ear painful? do you feel like theres liquids in the ear? Do you have a "full feeling" in your ear? You could have an ear infection. If you have a fever or if you have greenish colored drainage from your nose you need to get any of those symptoms checked out. Its also possible that your nerve may have been irritated by the surgery, and it needs some time to recover. As for the asthma..if its not being controlled by your rescue inhaler, you need to go to your A & E. Coughing may irritate the surgery and cause injury too... Ann Very Upset need advice please. Guest guest
They are definitely all connected - one of my early warning signs of an asthma attack is my ears popping, and I can't unpop themJennTha can tek t'lass outta Yorkshire...! Don't brand me, don't classify me, don't tell me what to wear. I'll be who I want to be, and I'm proud to be me.From: willothewispl@... Guest guest
Hi Donna,I am totally at a loss as I really don't understand how the medical system works for you guys across the pond. However as this is messing with your asthma you need to be seen NOW. My advice is to go to emergency. These smaller flares will turn into something major if not brought into check. It is also possible that there may be some secondary infection messing with you. This may be absolutely too late as it is over 24 hours since you posted. Feel better.Madeline To: CP <chronic_pain >; asthma Sent: Tue, October 19, 2010 6:18:47 PMSubject: Very Upset need advice please.
